I saw this on Pinterest in a picture frame but thought I should get good use out of my new chalkboard!!
This is our story in numbers.
Our birthdays, dating anniversary, engagement, and wedding anniversary!
Next on the list will be our kids birthdays.

The beginning...

Well I really never knew what to write in my blog when i started, but my sister in law recently started a blog and has done Way better than me! she started out telling her family story which is great! So taken from her I am going to tell our story too...

Well Darren and I went to different high schools. We met in 2005 at my cousins birthday party...he was a friend of one of the guest...we didn't hit it off then. A year later in 2006 we met at a Halloween party. We danced and hung out all night...leading to our first kiss ;). we talked on the phone and over Facebook (which I got just to see him) until January 7, 2007 we officially started dating...facebook official too.
We graduated from high school in May and both headed to Murray State University that fall.

He was going for OSHA and I was going to be an elementary teacher.

*Our niece Penelope Reese was born October 10, 2009

My last spring break of college Darren and I went to South Carolina to visit his sister, brother in law, and niece Lyla. We went to Myrtle Beach for a day and that night while walking along the beach Darren proposed ;) one of the best nights of my life...so far! March 27, 2010

Summer 2010 Darren went for an internship 5 1/2 hours away. Not fun at all! but I am so glad it was just for the summer! Most of the rest of 2010 was planning the wedding and finishing school.

I student taught starting in August for 2nd grade and then October I taught 6, 7, and 8th grade. I graduated from college December 2010 and actually recieved a job teaching 6, 7, and 8th grade. (the one i did while student teaching) Def. a blessing!

So I started my teaching career Jan. 2011, Darren graduated in May 14, 2011, and got married May 21, 2011

We went away for a week for our Honeymoon and the next week we moved to Ohio. Busy Busy!

We found out we were expecting a niece or nephew in August and due in May. We just recently found out it is going to be a boy and his name is going to be Wyatt Michael.

We found out we were expecting our first baby in October due in July. We had a miscarriage in November, but we know it was all part of God's plan. We are hoping to expect another one soon! We can't wait to be parents :)

We are also hoping to move home soon. I would love to be a couple hours away...well anything better that 6 1/2 hours.

Even though we are far away we have had to rely on each other and God about everything! So we have grown closer to each other and God through these past 7 months.

Happy 2012

I cannot believe that it is 2012! 2011 had so many great memories! We got married in may and moved to Ohio so it's been a fast crazy ride so I can't wait till 2012 to see what's in store!
I will have nephew coming in may of this year and hopefully one of my own soon too!

One of my fav things of last night was that it was our 5th new years kiss:)

1 goal/resolution

Ofcourse everyone has a goal or resolution for the new year but I really think I have these goals all year lol.

One of my goals is to lose the 20 pounds that I gained since we have been married lol. I have already lost 3 pounds so I will keep up the good work and keep you updated on the progress!

Pictures will def be coming soon. Embarrassing but it will motivate me even more!

Also I have started using the xbox360 kinect to do most of my workouts so Kay be posting some tips and fun pictures from those!

Goal 1: lose 20 pounds by end of march!
Goal 2: read my Bible everyday!
Goal 3: be with child at some point in 2012 :)
Goal 4: get an elementary teaching job
Goal 5: get an SUV!
Goal 6: post on my blog 4 times a week! (getting better)

So I will keep you updated on these goals!

TIPS!

ok so I have figured out how to do a new background and header!  woohoo!

I used shabbyblogs.com
They have a great selection of designs and tutorials for beginners which helped me out tremendously.

also googling how to add tabs helped me out a lot!  If you need to know send me a question and I will let you know!

Learning to blog!

Ok so I have had a blog for a year now and haven't really done anything! Ugh. Lazy me!

My sister in law would be great at blogs and I think she is starting one soon! Can't wait to read all of her posts!

So I am going to go through my post as I go through learning how to blog!

Hopefully soon I will add a tab for a new addition to our family! :)

We are still living in Ohio, but hopefully moving closer to home soon

We had a great Christmas and looking forward to 2012!

December 2011

Hopefully this will not be my last post before the end of the year but I will try my best! We have been so blessed the last couple of months! We have had some ups and downs but mostly ups! We are trying to move back closer to home (ky or tn) sometime soon!

Thanksgiving was awesome to be home with everyone except it always goes too fast!

We are now home for Christmas and I am so excited to be here for almost a whole week!

We are hoping to start a family soon. Just waiting for God's timing :)

Also one of my sisters in law is pregnant with a boy due in May. Wyatt Michael. Can't wait to add pictures of that little cutie!


Updates will be more often I promise! This will be my new years resolution so that I can come back and see what all happened and when.

My sister in law Brandi will have me on track to getting more posts.
