Yes I said it! We are house hunting and moving to Tennessee!!
One of our goals is almost complete. We will only be an hour to an hour and a half away from home!
We will be lots closer to Jon, Brandi, and Penelope! We will only be about 30 min from their house! :)
Darren is so excited about his new job and so am I! We are ready to go right now!
We have been looking online for houses to rent for right now and maybe going house hunting this weekend! Whew whirlwind of excitement!
We will be moving around the third week of february! I seriously think that I could pack up this house tonight and have it ready :)

I am really going to miss the friends that we made here in Ohio though :(. They have been our only family while we have been here. We are going to miss some babies being born and other newborns grow up. It's so bittersweet. I wish I could just move them with us! They would love all the country talk lol.

Goal Progress
Sorry it has taken me so long to update on my progress.
Goal 1: lose 20 pounds by end of march!
> well, after going home I put on a few pounds, so only 4 pounds lost now.
Goal 2: read my Bible everyday!
> Well we got behind a little bit because of all the traveling and sickness, but we are catching up now!
Goal 3: be with child at some point in 2012 :)
>We have decided to stop trying for a little while to drop some stress.
Goal 4: get an elementary teaching job
>waiting until we get settled some where
Goal 5: get an SUV!
> hopefully by the fall sometime
Goal 6: post on my blog 4 times a week!

Trip to KY and TN Jan. 2012
Well once Darren and I came back from Christmas we decided we were going to wait a couple of months before we went back home to KY.
That is when Darren got a call a couple weeks after we got back to Ohio. He had a phone interview with a job in TN which is only 1 hour away from where we grew up. :)
They wanted to go ahead and set up a face to face interview as well, which was last Friday.
We should hear something about the progress or yes or no by tomorrow. SO ANXIOUS!!!
But as Darren said....It is not in our hands now...well it never was in our hands just trust God. > this is why I love him so much, because he loves the Lord!
So we made a trip to TN and of course stopped to see almost all of the family while we were there.
After the interview we went to see Jon, Brandi, and Penelope. Of course Brandi cooked some great meals, Jon is always the comedian and keeps Darren company, and Penelope as funny as ever. Since she has grown up she has really got a vocabulary on her. She can tell me a story and I completely know what she is talking about! This is her Diva side :)

Also, while we were there we got to see our sweet baby cousin Zayleigh. She is so precious.
We got to see our niece Lyla for just a little bit :) Look how long her hair getting! She is sweet! She will be a great big sister!

Baby Tait and his Mobile
So, our Sunday school teachers were expecting a little boy today. Monday we decided to make baby Tait a mobile to match his bedding. Everyone we found online was 35.00 just for a kit to make one like we wanted it!
So, we decided to make it ourselves. This mobile was $10 in materials and $10 for the star cutout (which you can use for later use)
this was to match this bedding from Target.
We finished around 4:30 pm. At 3:45 in the morning Tait decided to make his appearance! He was born on Jan. 24. 7 lbs. 7 oz.

Update.
I will keep everyone updated on the process of the job interviews.
Darren had his interview on Friday. It went really well as he said.
We should find out Friday. Hopefully good news!!
He also had another interview close to the same place and will find out this week also if he got that one!

Letting go...
This is a random tangent but you know how it is when you want something so bad and it seems everyone you are around has it.
Well this is the way I have been feeling ever since I have had my miscarriage. It seemed everyone was pregnant with no problems. One of my sisters in law is pregnant with a sweet boy but at first every time I saw her I just wanted to cry. Almost all of my friends are pregnant who were trying and some who weren't trying.
But you know the crazy thing is that I was just seeing everything I couldn't have. Ater my miscarriage one of my friends had one the next week and it was nice that she could talk to me about it. A couple of my friends have been trying much longer than we had and still haven't or can't get pregnant. You know just when I was feeling pity on myself there are MUCH worse circumstances out there.
One of my friends who is having difficulty is so much more positive than I am. I mean I'm positive on the outside but not as much on the inside.
God has really been with me and shown through me this past week. Something that I never knew I would be able to do. Well I didn't it was all God.
I am finally letting go as much as possible of the jealously and self pity over this miscarriage and pregnancy of my friends. I really am super happy for them and I don't want them to think for a second I'm not.
I have finally got to the point that I KNOW GOD WILL BRING ME THROUGH IT. During his time I will have a healthy baby some day. I absolutely can't wait for that day.
So my prayer this week is for those who are having trouble getting pregnant or can't at all just give them patience and a positive outlook and never turn away from God because during these times is when you will need him the most. I would like you to say a prayer for me and those who need it :)

Progress week 2
Since I didn't have my computer this week I couldn't give you an update on my progress for my resolution goals.

Rocky Tops
On the way to Oregon we had to make connecting flight in Minnesota, then on to Oregon. I was so antsy to get off the plane.
While just sitting I looked out my window and this is what I saw....
I just thought it was so beautiful!
Then as we were descending to land this is what Portland, Oregon looked like :)
Overall we had a pretty good trip.
I ended up having to go to the ER with chest pains but they said everything was ok and that hopefully it will go away. I feel much better after being home.
Speaking of being home......This is what we saw while leaving Oregon, connecting in Newark, New Jersey, and finally making it back to Ohio.

Oregon
So Portland, Oregon is actually beautiful in its own dreary way :). It really reminds me of Forks , Washington from the twilight books.
I only have my iPad with me so I don't know how many pictures I will be able to add during my post this week. If I can't add any then I will add some when we get back home this weekend!
On the plane ride here we saw lots of mountains with snow on them and it was just breathtaking!
The whole area is kind of old looking but so pretty when it is not raining.
Darren's cousin moved out here about a year ago and we are very excited to visit with him this week.
Will write again soon. Hopefully with pictures!

5 years of LOVE!!
January 7, 2007- when it all began :) Our senior year in high school, first I love you, college, our niece Lyla was born, and first road trip together
January 7, 2008- 1 year together wow! living in the dorms, more road trips, and family time!
January 7, 2009- 2 years together :) Living in our own apartments, Ice storm, College was actually closed for a week, Our niece Penelope was born, and more family time!
January 7, 2010- 3 years- Engagment, internship, I graduated from college, and family
January 7, 2011- 4 years WOW! Darren graduated from college, I had my first teaching job, We got MARRIED, moved to Ohio, Went to Aruba, travelled a lot for business, and lots of family time knowing we are now going to have a nephew
January 7, 2012- 5 years! OMG it does not seem like that many years has already passed! We are traveling to Oregon, Interviews for possible jobs CLOSE TO HOME!!!! YAY!

Crazy Weather in Ohio...everywhere
We have had some crazy weather this week in Ohio.
It snowed on Monday and Tuesday and stayed until Thursday. Tuesday the high was 22 degrees burr.
Friday it was 57 degrees, so I thought if I am going to have to work out I am def going to do it outside.
So I decided to run around the loop that we have.

New Craft...
So, I am going on another business trip with Darren, to Oregon this time.
I need something to do that doesn't require me bringing my sewing machine and hot glue gun.
I am now crocheting....mostly those cute little hats.

The beginning...
Well I really never knew what to write in my blog when i started, but my sister in law recently started a blog and has done Way better than me! she started out telling her family story which is great! So taken from her I am going to tell our story too...
Well Darren and I went to different high schools. We met in 2005 at my cousins birthday party...he was a friend of one of the guest...we didn't hit it off then. A year later in 2006 we met at a Halloween party. We danced and hung out all night...leading to our first kiss ;). we talked on the phone and over Facebook (which I got just to see him) until January 7, 2007 we officially started dating...facebook official too.
We graduated from high school in May and both headed to Murray State University that fall.
He was going for OSHA and I was going to be an elementary teacher.

*Our niece Penelope Reese was born October 10, 2009
My last spring break of college Darren and I went to South Carolina to visit his sister, brother in law, and niece Lyla. We went to Myrtle Beach for a day and that night while walking along the beach Darren proposed ;) one of the best nights of my life...so far! March 27, 2010
Summer 2010 Darren went for an internship 5 1/2 hours away. Not fun at all! but I am so glad it was just for the summer! Most of the rest of 2010 was planning the wedding and finishing school.
I student taught starting in August for 2nd grade and then October I taught 6, 7, and 8th grade. I graduated from college December 2010 and actually recieved a job teaching 6, 7, and 8th grade. (the one i did while student teaching) Def. a blessing!
So I started my teaching career Jan. 2011, Darren graduated in May 14, 2011, and got married May 21, 2011
We went away for a week for our Honeymoon and the next week we moved to Ohio. Busy Busy!
We found out we were expecting a niece or nephew in August and due in May. We just recently found out it is going to be a boy and his name is going to be Wyatt Michael.
We found out we were expecting our first baby in October due in July. We had a miscarriage in November, but we know it was all part of God's plan. We are hoping to expect another one soon! We can't wait to be parents :)
We are also hoping to move home soon. I would love to be a couple hours away...well anything better that 6 1/2 hours.
Even though we are far away we have had to rely on each other and God about everything! So we have grown closer to each other and God through these past 7 months.
I am not sure what else I will be writing about....any ideas just comment in the comments section below!

Happy 2012
I cannot believe that it is 2012! 2011 had so many great memories! We got married in may and moved to Ohio so it's been a fast crazy ride so I can't wait till 2012 to see what's in store!
I will have nephew coming in may of this year and hopefully one of my own soon too!
One of my fav things of last night was that it was our 5th new years kiss:)
