35 Weeks! 35 days to go!

How far along? 35 weeks

baby size: 18 in honeydew melon

baby weight: 5.25 pounds!  estimate

Total weight gain?  33 pounds

Maternity clothes? yes....

Stretch marks? nope not yet that i can see....can't believe it honestly!

Sleep? ehh.... waking up every 2 hours....i guess i am just getting ready for when he arrives!

Best moments of the week? feeling every single kick and movement and seeing most :) and hearing his sweet heartbeat!! 

Miss anything? sleeping through the night and wearing my engagement/wedding rings :(

Movement? yes!  little less movement...i hope this means he is getting locked and loaded!

Food Cravings? fruit and  we can add ice cream now!

Anything making you queasy or sick? seafood and raw meat

Gender?  It's a BOY!

Labor Signs? contractions on a daily (irregular)...come on baby boy!!  He has dropped down just a little!  Hopefully soon!

Symptoms? cramps, contractions, and he is sitting on my nerves! lol

Belly buttons in or out? in...pushing it's way to the surface!  STILL not flat or poking out!

Wedding rings on or off? off..wearing some cheap ones until after delivery :(.....  the heat is really getting to my fingers and toes haha

Happy or moody most of the time? mostly happy and ready to hold him :)

Looking forward to? Hopefully seeing him one last time on ultrasound before we get to see him in person!! I can't wait to see who he looks like!  ahhh it is getting so much closer!!

Due Date? September 30.....5 weeks give or take left!!!   YAY

I seriously cannot believe that we have made it this far!  Thank you Lord for such awesome blessings!!

Thoughts

It is very close to the birth of our baby boy and even closer to the 4 month anniversary/birthday of our nephew Wyatt. I think of him often and wonder exactly who he would have looked like and if he would have loved to cuddle like his big sister did.

I think people assume it has been so easy for us to just blow off the fact that we have a nephew who is with Jesus now and a son on the way. WRONG. I know it is nothing near what Wyatt's parents are going through though. There were times where I would sit in the floor and cry bc I couldn't understand and wrap my head around any of it. Lots of thoughts which have already been thought by Wyatt's mommy.

There is something about being an aunt and uncle. I know first hand about being an aunt that I would take every single one of my nieces and nephew and raise them. I love them like they are my own children. With that said when Wyatt was born it was like me watching everyone hold my son. I felt agony and pain but yet looking at how beautiful he was! I still to this day look through his pictures and I am like that is one gorgeous boy!

I do miss Wyatt ALOT. Even though I am happy about my own son. It's very hard to have both emotions and show them regularly. I can't wait to meet my son, but in my thoughts I just knew him and Wyatt would be playing together and having a big time. Things do change
But I still think they are best buds! :)

Coming down to the finals of pregnancy I regularly sit in my sons room bc I don't want to forget one aspect and never miss a punch or kick, even if they are to the ribs. I sit and think that I am going through every step Wyatt's mommy went through and I really can't imagine not bringing home my son. Bc honestly who really thinks its going to be them.
My goal has been to do my best not to miss one thing and not take for granted anything even if it's pain. I want to be a mom that IF I get to take my son home I want to be worthy and honored to bring my son home and raise him!
Wyatt's mommy and daddy are wonderful parents and I know Wyatt is missing out on some awesome hugs and kisses from his big sister. Heaven is way better than earth, I'll just have to keep that in mind.

Getting things ready for our son, Lucian has been my favorite so far. We packed his bag and our bag and now his room is completely finished! We do have a gown and hat that closely matches his cousin Wyatt's. I knew I wanted one the day Wyatt's mommy got one to bring him home in. When I did get one it has brought many memories of Wyatt, but I think in a good way. Lucian can look back and know that he and his cousin had the best outfits ever :)

Honestly to say I am not scared is a very big understatement. I am scared to death. Of course I do not want to lose my son. I honestly don't think I could emotionally handle it. God will get me through though if he does choose my son to be with him. It is just me understanding that point.

See, I told you it's hard to have both emotions regularly! This post is everywhere.

Pray for a safe and healthy delivery for Lucian.

Happy or moody most of the time? mostly happy and ready finish his room and of course hold him :)

Looking forward to? getting last minute outfits with his name on them!, packing our bag, and hopefully seeing him one last time on ultrasound before we get to see him in person!! ahhh it is getting so much closer!!
